निम्न 3 नियम इस प्रकार है-

1.घनीय इकाई सेल के प्रत्येक कोने पर स्थित कण जालक में उपस्थिक आठ इकाई सेलो द्वारा बराबर के साझे की स्थिति में होते हैं अतः कोनों पर स्थित कर का योगदान 1/8 होता है।


2.धनीय इकाई सेल के फलक के मध्य स्थित कण उभय फलक वाले दो इकाई सेलों के द्वारा बराबर के साझे की स्थिति में होता हैं। अतः फलक केन्द्रित कण का योगदान 1/2 होता है।


3.धनीय इकाई सेल का अन्तः केन्द्रित कण केवल उस इकाई में ही उपस्थित होता है। अत: अन्तः केन्द्रित कण का योगदान 1 होता है।

The following 3 rules are as follows-


1.The particles at each corner of the cubic unit cell are in equal positions shared by the eight unit cells present in the lattice, so the contribution of the charges at the corners is 1/8.




2.The particle located in the middle of the face of the positive unit cell is in a state shared equally by the two unit cells with double faces. Hence, the contribution of the face-centred particle is 1/2.




3.The intrinsic particle of a positive unit cell is present only in that unit cell. Hence, the contribution of the intrinsic particle is 1.
